#GreenSaturday: Let’s clean up together!

Our 13th Clean-Up Day is coming up — and we’re counting on you once again. On #GreenSaturday, we come together to stand for environmental awareness, community, and shared responsibility. We’re cleaning up the Tiergarten to show what our culture represents: Peace, Love, Unity, Respect — and sustainability. 💚

📍 Meeting Point: 11:00 AM at the Victory Column, Großer Stern, Berlin

Materials

Gloves, grabbers, vests, and trash bags will be provided by us and by the BSR Kehrenbürger project — huge thanks for that! You’re also welcome to bring your own gear.

What to Wear

Please wear closed shoes and weatherproof clothing. Keep an eye on the forecast. In case of heavy rain or severe weather, the clean-up may be canceled. We’ll share updates through our social channels or in the Eco Team chat if you’re registered as a volunteer.

What is #GreenSaturday?

After the shopping frenzy of so-called “Black Friday,” we flip the script: the Saturday after becomes #GreenSaturday — a clear statement for sustainability and mindful living. Instead of hunting for discounts, we head outdoors into the city’s green spaces to show that taking action has more impact than any sale.

Why in Tiergarten?

Because this park is so much more to us than a beautiful piece of city nature. For decades, the Großer Tiergarten has been a home for our culture: a place where we’ve danced to techno, celebrated freedom, lived love, and felt true connection. That’s why it matters to us to give something back and show that we care — for our city, our culture, and our planet.

Not in Berlin?

No worries! Host your own clean-up — in a park, a forest, along a riverbank, or right in your own neighborhood. Every contribution counts. Together, we’re making #GreenSaturday a movement that goes far beyond Berlin.
