What is the Rave The Planet Parade?

The Rave The Planet Parade is more than an event – it’s a cultural-political demonstration, a place for community and freedom. With music as our uniting force, we fight for the preservation and recognition of electronic music culture and celebrate what brings us together as humans: diversity, peace, and solidarity.

Route Info & Starting Points of the Floats

Just like last year, all floats will be evenly spaced out along Straße des 17. Juni right from the start – moving in both directions between Brandenburg Gate and Großer Stern. The parade runs as a shuttle route: floats turn around just before the Brandenburg Gate and head back west.

Why Only the Eastern Section?
The western stretch of Straße des 17. Juni is currently blocked by a major construction site. Grid operator 50Hertz is installing the so-called “Kabeldiagonale Berlin” – a key infrastructure project for Germany’s energy transition. That’s why the parade takes place exclusively on the eastern part of the route this year.

Why Isn’t There a Stage at the Victory Column?
Back in the day, the Love Parade had a central stage at Großer Stern. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible for Rave The Planet. There are several reasons – including safety regulations, budget limitations, and the fact that the monument is managed by a public-private partnership (PPP). The operator no longer allows events or demonstrations like ours to take place there. In such models, commercial interests often outweigh public use.

We truly regret this – but we’re staying solution-focused: Instead of one big central stage, we go for a decentralized setup with mobile floats that double as moving stages. Right on the street, right in the crowd. It keeps the demo flexible, inclusive, and close to the people – just the way it should be for a nonprofit movement like ours.
