Besides Captain Westbam, this year’s crew includes: K-Paul, Hardy Hard, Cherry BreakNtune, Hanna von Beeskov, Fucky the Bear, and other interstellar dudes…

C&C Bookings is a booking agency from Poland with over 10 years of experience in the industry. Their artist roster features top-notch Polish talents who excel both as producers and with live performances. Among them are well-known names like An On Bast, Catz ‘n Dogz, Manoid, and many others.

The Stuttgart club “Climax Institutes” and PRIDEheroes are teaming up. They believe that music has the transformative power to unite people, regardless of their sexual orientation or identity. Their commitment to LGBTQAI+ rights reflects the values of Rave The Planet. They want to loudly proclaim this message of acceptance and unity. Techno, as a genre that gives marginalized people a voice, is the perfect medium to spread their message of inclusivity and equality.

The club “OST” is a fresh spot housed in a historically rich building, embodying openness and tolerance. It’s a safe space where everyone’s welcome. With a musical vibe leaning towards the edgier side, it also hosts numerous queer parties like “Cocktail d’Amor” and many others.

Concrete is a Berlin-based techno collective, event organizer, and label that has been curating diverse parties for over 4 years, featuring a wide range of techno styles including Hardgroove, Oldschool Techno, and Hypnotic beats. Their philosophy emphasizes rave as a protest movement and embraces the original spirit of techno. Concrete is dedicated to preserving the unity and musical diversity that characterized the early days of the scene. Collaborating with queer collectives, artists, performers, and dancers is central to fostering an inclusive and respectful atmosphere on the dance floor.

Culturama, a crew born out of the Anomalie Club, champions innovation in the electro scene. Its members, including promoters, club founders, DJs, and artists, unite with the aim of enriching the electro/culture scene with a social approach. Through the Culturama association, the Culturama bus, and a recording studio with an office, they’ve already built impressive structures. With 140 members, including 8 in administration, and participation in festivals like Feel, The Island, Snow Control, and Freedom, they’re making their mark on the scene.

“Der Weiße Hase” is a cozy little club nestled in the heart of Berlin’s RAW area. With a vibe straight out of the late 90s and early 2000s, it exudes a raw atmosphere intentionally reminiscent of the scene’s origins. They embody the spirit of techno, advocating for free-spirited, colorful, and peaceful celebrations, alongside fostering tolerance and respect for fellow revelers.

The Elmonauts, a Techno community with around 18,000 party people, love and live Techno across generations. Led by Eric SSL, a longtime Sunshine Live DJ and radio host, the community gathered on Twitch during the pandemic. Since then, they’ve been celebrating Techno music of all genres and eras at real, virtual, and hybrid events. Openness, helpfulness, and a sense of belonging characterize the Elmonauts, whose mascot is the lovable Elmo from Sesame Street.

The Dockland Crew is one of the pioneers of club culture in Germany and has been hosting their own events since 1987. In addition to internationally renowned clubs like Fusion, Dockland organizes various event formats such as the Docklands Festival and the Mini Boutique Festival “The Island” in Croatia. In this year’s GROOVE Reader’s Poll, both the Fusion Club (“Best Club in Germany”) and the Docklands Festival (“Best Festival”) were voted number 1. Dockland co-hosted their first float at the Love Parade in 1997.

“Droomschipp” is Low German for “Dreamship”. Founded in 2011 by Marcus Mahler and Steffen Matthes, the label has been professionally managed by Steffen (a.k.a. Plunk.ton) since autumn 2022. The concept: bringing musicians together and providing a platform for creativity. In addition to music, art forms such as graffiti and collages are incorporated for cover artworks and decorations.

Ellen Noir – an art and culture project from Magdeburg, serving as a club and cultural center for electronic music and art events for 6 years. Festivals are also part of the program through Ellen Noir in our region. In collaboration with the Magdeburg DJ scene and Ellen Noir, one of the few techno clubs in the region, we aim to demonstrate for freedom in expressing our values and creativity.

The Berlin collective stereoAKTIV merges the charismatic world of burlesque, body painting art, and techno at its event series “Human Colours” at KitKat Club. Centered around the diverse facets of human existence, participants dance to the driving rhythm of the beats, celebrating with appreciation, love, and in a body-positive atmosphere to the unifying sound of the techno family.

For 15 years now, Kittball has been a solid presence in the electronic music scene, especially in the realm of house and tech-house. Founded by Tube & Berger and led by Juliet Sikora, this label has made a name for itself across Germany and beyond. With its own stages at festivals and local events, Kittball is well-known both locally and internationally.

The Obsession collective is a diverse blend of creatives, musicians, DJs, technicians, designers, photographers, videographers, and above all, countless individuals who have come together over 15 years and more than 100 events. Their journey began in 2010 as “Obsession” and has evolved into an East German collective implementing a variety of ideas. From providing technical support at various festivals to organizing open-air events, boat parties, and their current focus: creating spaces for connection.

“Kunst&Krach” has been active in the music and events industry for 15 years, specializing in subcultural events within the electronic music scene. They offer a range of event brands, with “Lichtblick” being their most well-known concept series.

“Freigeist Open Air” hosts small festivals two to four times a year, often supporting a charitable project. Alongside other efforts, the collective is dedicated to creating free cultural spaces.

I am because we are – “MAAYA” opens in July 2024 and will be Berlin’s new cultural hub for African and Afro-diasporic art and culture. Led by a diverse BIPOC team, MAAYA is a space for inclusivity and creativity. It offers a dynamic venue for artists, collectives, and culture enthusiasts. Featuring “Freak de l’Afrique” with Amapiano, Afro Beats, 3 Step, Gqom, and Kuduro, as well as “RISE,” focusing on Afro House and Afro Tech. These two collectives, along with other resident DJs, will represent “MAAYA” at the Rave The Planet demonstration.

Melodienschmiede e.V. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to youth, talent, and cultural development based in Gera, Germany. Their activities range from workshops and DJ contests to supporting youth welfare projects. They’re also active in the club scene, organizing festivals and club events.

This crew has come together between Mannheim and Karlsruhe. The “MS Connexion” sprawls over 3500 square meters across five floors, serving as a cultural haven for electronic music, home to countless legendary parties and raves over the past 40 (!) years. “DEX!T Techno” is a thriving event series by Seimen Dexter, named after the man himself. Since 2020, DJ and producer Sylent has been carving out a reputation across Germany. Paradeking supports the crew, bringing 19 years of solid experience in the parade float business.

Ostfunk is a solid fixture in the Berlin techno scene. For over 20 years, the label has been blending techno and psychedelic trance at their events. Their series “Goanautika” throws one of Berlin’s hottest Goa and psytrance shindigs right now.

Paradise Worldwide is a Berlin-based music company with a global reach, dedicated to fostering the exchange of technology and culture. The company enhances the careers of independent artists and labels through data-driven music distribution, licensing, and artist development. As a significant force in the industry, Paradise is a participant in the AFEM-led campaign “Get Played, Get Paid”. This movement advocates for the recognition of electronic music and works towards compensating creators through music rights and licensing fees.

The collective “Peace 4 All”, comprising Volume Berlin Records, Hexenwerk Festival, Mijk van Dijk, and Christian Grade, brings together diverse backgrounds and biographies. What they share is their friendship, their love for the planet, and electronic music. How long someone has been part of the scene doesn’t matter to the crew. Respectful interaction is key, and they want to showcase that to the world.

Rave for Good e.V. is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 to make the world a better place through dance, art, and music. This diverse music collective organizes events with eclectic line-ups to raise awareness and funds. Their goal is to fight inequality and help those in need.

Rave The Planet, as one float crew and organizers of the demo, are the heart and engine of the parade. With a passion for electronic music and a vision for a sustainable future, they create an experience that connects generations. The “Rave The Planet Parade” demonstration is much more than a celebration of techno culture – it’s a statement for love, freedom, and community.

“Revolver Party” is an event series in the Berlin club scene. It stands as one of the city’s most renowned and well-established queer parties. Offering a diverse blend of electronic music and performance art, it attracts a wide audience, extending a warm welcome to the LGBTQAI+ community, along with friends and supporters.

“Subciety” was founded by Merlijn Poolman, the night mayor of Groningen, Netherlands, and the founder of the club “Subsonic”, which ceased operations in 2017. It gathers a diverse crew of open-minded organizations that fuse techno, transitioning into industrial hardcore with intermittent breaks. The collective includes the all-female crew “Riot Collective”, “PRSPCT”, and “Alcatraz Events”. It boasts a predominantly female lineup at Rave the Planet events and champions loud music for a delightful crowd!

SUNSHINE LIVE is one of the leading German radio stations for electronic music. Since its founding in 1997, the station has been closely associated with the Berlin Love Parade. It presented live broadcasts of DJ sets and interviews, straight from the Victory Column. Also legendary is the station’s float, featuring a huge inflatable blue baby head, sporting headphones and sunglasses, known as “Clubby Baby”. In 2024, SUNSHINE LIVE is participating for the first time in the Rave The Planet Parade.

SYMBIOTIKKA: The Legendary Kinky Party from Berlin

For nearly 7 years now, the legendary Kinky Party SYMBIOTIKKA (from KitKat Club Berlin) has been a staple in Berlin’s nightlife, establishing itself as one of Germany’s most important and best sex-positive events. The party has created a unique combination of playful celebration, freedom, and high-class techno music, attracting partygoers from all over the world. Last year, we had a truck with HIVE at Rave the Planet.

Rummy Sharma, from India, has been involved in organizing electronic music events and DJing since 1991, heavily influenced by the Berlin Techno scene. In 2000, he spearheaded the creation of India’s first International Music Festival, “Vibrato”. Over the years, he has been involved in various ventures including DJ stores, sound system management, club ownership, and DJ schools. Currently based in France, Rummy is working with his family, who owns Europe’s largest Film and Sound university. He is also the founder of The Bootcamp Goa, a unique “Electronic music production and performance education camp”.

TRENDWÆNDE, the event series from Vienna by Evi and Kay Barton, stands for communal club experiences and a subculture away from the mainstream with a focus on “us”. It brings together new and familiar artists and scene influencers from the international techno scene who represent sophisticated, multifaceted electronic music and art. Techno creates unity. Techno is love, respect, and peaceful coexistence. Together with Laboratorium Kyiv, currently the largest rave festival organizer in Ukraine, TRENDWÆNDE demonstrates for global peace and disarmament.

As Verknipt focuses on (hard) techno, industrial techno and other hard dance rave music, with multiple events throughout the year at various locations, booking well known artists and introducing our visitors to new rising stars! Together with a crazy light and lasershow and freaky visuals: we have the perfect mix to get you to rave! With roughly 155.000 visitors a year.
