Behind the Scenes
With the official music video for “IMAGINE LOVE”, the anthem of the Rave The Planet Parade 2026 comes to life through a visual story. The video follows Dr. Motte and Tommahawk as they make their way through Berlin on separate paths – filmed entirely from a first-person point of view, directly through their eyes. In the end, their two stories come together, turning into one shared journey toward the parade.
In two completely different parts of the city, two alarms go off. Two people start the same day. A man wakes up on a couch. A woman opens her eyes in a hotel room, heads to the bathroom, washes her hands, and gets ready for the day ahead.
At first, we see everything entirely from their point of view. Their faces stay hidden. Instead, we move through the morning with them: waking up, making coffee, getting dressed, heading outside, and making small choices that, for now, seem completely unrelated.
The man hops on his bike and rides through the city. At the Victory Column, he stops, frames the Berlin landmark through his camera, and takes a photo. Then he moves on, putting up posters for a party.
Meanwhile, the woman travels across Berlin by subway. She picks up some flowers and returns to her hotel room. Back inside, she sits down on the couch and opens her laptop. On the screen, the artwork for the Rave The Planet Parade 2026 appears.
For now, their stories still unfold separately. But with every new scene, it becomes clearer: their paths are leading toward each other.
The Moment Two Perspectives Become One Story
Eventually, the man arrives at the hotel. He walks through the revolving door, crosses the lobby, and stops in front of a hotel room. He knocks.
The woman opens the door. For the very first time, we see Dr. Motte from her perspective—and, in the reverse shot, Tommahawk from his. Then the camera leaves the first-person perspective behind. The view opens up as the two finally stand face to face, greeting each other with big smiles and a warm embrace.
This shift marks the emotional turning point of the video. What began as two separate journeys becomes one shared moment.
Pre-Party at Studio 45
One by one, more people arrive at the hotel suite. The energy keeps building as the music fills the room. Dr. Motte and Tommahawk take over the DJ booth, demo signs are painted, and with every scene, the excitement for the parade grows stronger.
While some are already watching the live broadcast of the parade, the rest of the group gets ready to head out. Together, they leave the hotel and make their way toward the parade. The final shot settles on Berlin’s Victory Column – the destination of their shared journey.
A Production by the Community
The music video was directed by Britta Mischer, who has been documenting Rave The Planet since its earliest days and has captured the growth of the movement on film over the years. Alongside the official music videos, she also directed the new documentary „Love Is Stronger – From Love Parade to Rave The Planet“, which premieres in the German ARD Mediathek on July 31, 2026. With productions such as the feature documentary „Bar25 – Days Out of Time“, she has shown how electronic music culture can be portrayed with authenticity, warmth, and a deeply human perspective. That same distinctive approach also shapes the music video for “IMAGINE LOVE.”

The spirit of Rave The Planet runs through every part of the music video, both in front of the camera and behind it. Every member of the cast gave their time on a volunteer basis. Many of them have supported the parade for years as friends, artists, supporters, or active members of the Rave The Planet community.

The standout looks were created mainly by Lettau Art Fashion, with additional accessories from unlabled_berlin.
The result is more than a music video. It is a project created by the community, for the community.
