Parade 2022 will take place
Here’s the update everyone has been waiting for: The Rave The Planet Parade will take place as planned on 09 July 2022 in Berlin!
Before we were able to finally go ahead and share these great news, we were literally drowning in work. A lot of it had to do with the handover of our managing director position. Other time consuming things had to do with the content and production musts for the realization of the parade.
However, we would like to start with a topic that’s been on everyone’s mind for the last two weeks: the war in Ukraine.
Like so many other artists, promoters and activists, we asked ourselves if it’s even okay to go out and party now?
OUR OPINION ON THIS IS QUITE CLEAR: YES!
Especially now, the world needs something that brings us all together again. Electronic music culture, like hardly any other, has managed to unfold a unifying and peacemaking power that unites people and creates peace.
The Love Parade accelerated the reunification, built bridges between people and nations, and reaffirmed in all of us the belief in a better world.
ONE WORLD, ONE FUTURE – WE ARE ONE FAMILY
This is the message and the political power of electronic music culture. That’s what the Love Parade once stood for. And that is what we want to finally make visible and tangible again for the whole world with the Rave The Planet Parade.
That’s why the motto of the parade 2022 is: „Together Again“.
FLOAT APPLICATIONS: STARTING SOON!
Back to the roots – the Rave The Planet Parade returns to the origins of the Love Parade, which until 2001 was a political demonstration, with always positive demands.
We continue this tradition and take to the streets together for the “Recognition and Preservation of Electronic Music Culture as a Cultural Achievement”.
If you’d like to participate in the parade with your own float (music truck), you should urgently register for it. Soon the application phase will start and the number of participants is limited!
