Artur Wojtczak is one of the most dedicated ambassadors of club culture in Poland and is based in Warsaw. As a freelance music journalist and club promoter, he’s worked with outlets like Mixmag Poland, Muno.pl, Electronic Beats Poland (as Editor-in-Chief), and Radio Meister. He was also the first Polish speaker to take the mic at Rave The Planet – not just once, but three times – highlighting topics like the legal recognition of clubs as cultural spaces.

Artur is the mind behind key columns like House Nation Poland and Clubland Polska, pushing for international visibility of the Polish club scene. His quotes have appeared in major publications like Rolling Stone (US edition).

Over the years, he’s interviewed legends such as Armand Van Helden, Miss Kittin, Ellen Allien, Westbam, Róisín Murphy, Coldcut, and Dr. Motte – and contributed to leading international platforms like Mixmag UK, DJ Mag, GROOVE, FAZE, and Only Techno.

As a member of the Polish Phonographic Academy, Artur co-authored the book 30 Years of the Polish Techno Scene – the first comprehensive anthology of its kind in Eastern Europe. It even inspired the theater play Techno Republic, which gained international attention in the music press.

Bailey Brown

For Bailey Brown, electronic music was never just music – it was a way of life. Growing up on soul, hip-hop, and house, she quickly found her passion for trance, dream dance, and techno. A true ’90s kid, she spent hours watching the Loveparade on TV – with one big dream in mind: “One day, I want to be part of this!”

Today, she’s not only part of it – she’s helping shape it. Since 2017, Bailey has been active as a promoter and DJ. What started as passion quickly turned into purpose: she didn’t just want to be a guest – she wanted to create spaces. Spaces for community, self-expression, and the values of underground techno.

Her commitment goes far beyond the booth – whether on the decks, at demonstrations, or behind the mic as a podcaster.

Right now, she’s mostly active as co-founder and resident of ToHHnzimmer e.V., a nonprofit dedicated to supporting electronic subculture in Hamburg. The collective creates space for people from all walks of life – united by music and shared passion.

Carlo Blättler

Carlo Blättler has been part of the event industry for over 30 years and has spent more than 13 of them serving on the committee and as a member of the Street Parade Zurich – a true veteran of the scene.

Based in Switzerland, he shares his expertise as a lecturer on waste logistics, sustainability concepts, and contract management. His career path has been anything but ordinary – from bartender to stage manager to managing director of an event agency.

Carlo has helped organize numerous major events, including Street Parade, Caliente Festival Zurich, Sea You Festival (Germany), Gampel Open Air, and many more. He’s also active in several associations and committees such as Uplift Events, Förderverein Events Brugg, and the event commission of ACS.

A long-time supporter of Rave The Planet, he’s been part of the Berlin parade from the beginning – and he’s looking forward to joining again in 2025. In addition to his role at Brauerei Locher AG, Carlo is also politically engaged, having served as a municipal councillor in Rüfenach and as a candidate for the Grand Council in the Canton of Aargau.

Mijk van Dijk (Microglobe Collective) is one of Berlin’s original techno architects. For over 35 years, he’s helped shape the city’s raw and transformative scene – whether as a resident DJ at legendary clubs like Tresor and E-Werk, as the producer behind iconic tracks like Marmion’s “Schöneberg,” or as a masterful live act. Together with Christian Grade, he founded the international Microglobe Collective – which will make some serious noise at the Rave The Planet Parade 2025.

Ronny Luft (Volume Berlin Records) is the creative spark and all-rounder at Volume Berlin Records. With 25 years of experience as a DJ and producer, he brings good energy wherever he goes. His high-voltage sets light up dancefloors – and he’s the soul of our float crew, made up of Volume Berlin Records and the Microglobe Collective.

Christian Goiny (MdA)

Dr. Motte is a DJ, producer, and co-founder of the Berlin Loveparade – known to fans since 1993 as the “Father of the Loveparade.”

Julian Heun

Oliver Vordemvenne

Oliver Vordemvenne has been part of I-Motion since 1995 and has served as Managing Director of the event agency, based in Mülheim-Kärlich (Rhineland-Palatinate), since 2014. I-Motion is behind some of Germany’s biggest and most iconic electronic music festivals – including NATURE ONE, Ruhr-in-Love, MAYDAY, and SYNDICATE.

Since 2023, her event series Intoxication has become a regular part of the program at M-Bia Club, located at Alexanderplatz in Berlin. Through her long-standing work in the scene, Philien has consistently faced the growing challenges that clubs and promoters are dealing with.

On July 12, 2025, she’ll take the stage at the Rave The Planet demonstration to shine a light on these challenges.

Rainald Goetz

Rainald Goetz was born on May 24, 1954, in Munich. He is a renowned German author and playwright, celebrated for his experimental writing and innovative style.

Goetz studied history, theatre studies, and medicine.

He first gained public attention in 1983 with the publication of his debut novel Irre (Insane).

This was followed by influential works such as Kontrolliert, Festung, Abfall für Alle, Celebration, and Johann Holtrop.

Goetz became involved in the dance scene as early as the 1980s, and by the 1990s, he was a regular at raves and clubs around the world. His story Rave (1998) cemented his place in electronic music culture. Together with Westbam, he published Mix Cuts & Scratches, an interview-based exploration of the art of DJing. The two also co-directed the iconic music video Beatbox Rocker.

Rainald Goetz is a relentless warrior against the constraints of narrow-mindedness – and is now preparing a performance for the Rave The Planet demonstration.

Robert Owens, born in 1961 in Chicago, Illinois, is a legendary DJ, singer, and music producer – and one of the most influential voices in Chicago House. Known for his soulful voice and groundbreaking contributions to the early 1980s house music scene, he helped shape the sound of a generation.

Owens began his musical journey as part of a pioneering house music collective, collaborating with icons like Larry Heard and Frankie Knuckles. His unique blend of soul, R&B, and electronic elements quickly earned him a loyal following.

In the late 1980s, he rose to international fame with tracks like Tears – a collaboration with Frankie Knuckles that became a timeless Chicago house classic.

Throughout his career, Robert Owens has released numerous albums and played on major stages across the globe. Despite shifts in the music industry, he remains a vital figure in the world of house – known for his passion, distinct sets, and dedication to the art.

Sarah Matberg
