SWEDISH EVENT ORGANIZER & CLUB IN BERLIN

Valerio Sinatra is an artist and promoter. Born in Italy, he first established and expanded his base in Melbourne, Australia, and now further Sweden. There he organizes exceptional techno events with carefully selected line-ups, such as the Gate Festival.

So it was only logical to join forces with Berlins Anomalie Art Club for the Rave The Planet Parade. There, as the name suggests, it’s all about music and art as a holistic concept and about breaking down old boundaries. Just our thing!

Indielectrik was formed in 2018 from the idea to create an intermediate space for music of different electronic genres and to offer artists a platform in the form of small festivals. Whether you create a certain musical feeling with guitars, or electronic sound generators, is not initially important.

What is important is the unifying spirit that, far from dogmas, allows a spiritual and musical expansion of horizons.

The crew of the LichtParade comes from Cologne with beats and handcarts. Environmental protection and sustainability are their big topics, for which they go to the streets and parks to create awareness for a better coexistence and mindfulness for the planet, humanity and the soil. Through the First World Soil Reform, they want to help make universal world peace possible.

For 19 years, Ostfunk Berlin has been an integral part of the Berlin nightlife scene. The name used to stand for techno/deep house, but since 2013 there has always been a Goa stage at their events, too! The “Goanautika” event series meanwhile also counts among the city’s important psy-trance events.

The main goal of our float is to promote the whole Polish club culture without exception, and although I don’t want to go into any national and patriotic notes, in this case we are going to proudly represent Poland at the biggest electronic music event in the world, which this year will also be a political demonstration. One of our main demands is greater support for independent culture from the state budget, creating systems of patronage and financial support also for those who operate outside of large state or business structures.

Whenever you devote several months of your life to a project, there is a kind of indescribable satisfaction, but it will reach its peak only when we take to the streets of Berlin to proudly represent Poland – a country of paradoxes, ambivalence, where sadness and anger mix up with joy and pride! Join us and be a part of the new history that will be written before our eyes on 9th July on the streets of Berlin!

Their float will carry the message “PROTECT OUR SAFESPACE” and calls for the recognition of clubs, which for many people represent a safe space where they can freely express themselves, as cultural assets.

Artists and performers from different areas of electronic music, queer, kinky and club scene will represent. A large part of them comes from Ukraine.

Save Our Scene UK (SOS) was founded in 2020 to act as a leading voice for the British live music industry during the pandemic. In addition to their content service for promoters, they also organize House, Techno and Drum & Bass events themselves. They donate a % of their profits to music charities and other important causes.

SOS organized “Freedom to Dance”, one of the biggest creative industry demonstrations the UK has ever seen.

Their founder, George, has made it his mission to make SOS an international movement. He wants to highlight the positivity that music brings to all of our lives, while making a positive impact within the scene and beyond.

Ship Of Fools, Ameland NL

Classic Parade Collective

The crew of Ship Of Fools Ameland has already built an unbelievable number 25 (!) floats for various parades worldwide. They participated in the Love Parade 8 times and also joined the Street Parade in Zurich (CH), FFWD Parade in Rotterdam (NL), Techno Parade in Paris (FR), City Parade in Brussels (BE) and Parada da Paz in São Paulo (BRA).

At some point just being part of the parade wasn’t enough for the three SOF heads Frank, Adi and Henk, and so they organized parades themselves, e.g. the Rio Parade in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Who has contributed to the scene for so many years, with so much heart and soul, is also a must for Rave The Planet Parade 2022. Welcome back in Berlin!

You may have met him before… Somewhere in the forests or deserts of this planet?

But more likely you’ve never seen anything like it:

• on a rhombus-shaped base frame
• on a Citroen Jumper van

Music that sounds so beautiful that you want to dive right into it. Spikes so soft that you could hug them. His journey takes the “Travelling Hedgehog” from Tallinn in Estonia to Burning Man in the Nevada desert, to Sisyphos in Berlin and finally on tour throughout Europe.

Micro Booking Agency

Tyme Cristals is a recently founded Micro Agency in Berlin. The name stands for a quantum of subatomic particles that represent a new kind of matter. Their components can move in a repeating cycle without ever consuming energy. Like a perpetual motion machine.

This inexhaustible energy drives the 4 members of the team: Marcelo, Paula, Leon and Odile. An international crew of Berliners who dreamed of being part of Rave The Planet, contributing to the techno community.
